What better day than MLK day to announce an exciting collaboration between Resonance Ensemble, Third Angle New Music, and Oregon Symphony.

Together, we present to you: BLACKARTMATTERSPDX.COM

This website was created to showcase the works of black artists in the Portland arts community, and was inspired by the fact that this spring, within a month of each other, there will be premieres of two new major works by black artists in Portland: Damien Geter's An African American Requiem and Darrell Grant's Sanctuaries.

This is a seminal moment in Portland history- a moment that must ring out and be heard.
